During this 11-day tour discover magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, exquisite Jehangir Palace in Orchha, Shivpuri's royal legacy Gwalior Fort, palaces and temples with Mughal frescoes in Datia, temples of Khajuraho, and also take an excursion to Chanderi where to see craftswomen at work. Day 1: New Delhi
After breakfast take a full day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi visiting Chandni Chowk, India Gate, Lodhi Gardens, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple ,Gurudwara Rakabganj and Delhi Hatt. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: New Delhi
After breakfast visit the Red Fort and Akshardham Temple. Take a walking tour of the iconic Connaught Place and pass by the Presidential Palace. By evening return to your hotel for dinner overnight stay.
Day 3: New Delhi - Agra
After an early breakfast drive 180 km om Express Highway to Agra - location of the world's finest monument The Taj Mahal. Check into your hotel for lunch and for 2- night stay. Late afternoon visit Sikandra, Itamadullh's Tomb and the Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Agra - Gwalior
After breakfast take an excursion to Fatehpur Sikri - a great fort built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. Also visit the world-famous bird sanctuary at Bharatpur. From here drive to Gwalior. Overnight at a hotel in Gwalior
Day 5 : Gwalior
After breakfast visit the iconic Fort Gwalior. Inside is the 15th century Gujari Mahal Palace. Visit also the famous Sas-Bahu-Temple ( temple dedicated to mother-in-law and daughter-in-law ! ) and the many sacred Jain statutes. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 6 : Orchha:
After breakfast leave for the lovely town of Orchha situated on River Betwa. Take a swim. Late afternoon take a walking tour by the river and visit the
beautiful monuments : Orchha Fort, Jahangir Mahal, Ram Raj Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple and other temples. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 7 : Khajuraho
After breakfast drive to Khajuraho, a town world-renowned for its lovely 14th century temples that have unabashed sexual poses carved on its sandstones. Late afternoon visit these temples and in the evening see a light-and-sound show at the Mahadev Temple Complex. See before that the
Raneh Waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at our resort.
Day 8 : Khajuraho
Early morning before breakfast take a thrilling jeep safari deep into the forests of Panna National Park to see tigers, deer, jackals, langoors and
rare birds. After breakfast visit the Ajaygarh Fort and Benisagar Dam. Enjoy an Ayurvedic massage at hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 9 : Varanasi
After breakfast leave for Varanasi - a city most sacred to Hindus. After lunch take a walking tour of the colourful bazaars throbbing with activities.
Varanasi is famous for its silk sarees and scarves and other silk material, hand-knotted carpets and handicrafts. In the evening see an enchanting aarti on the banks of River Ganges. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 10 : Varanasi
Take at dawn a memorable cruise on the river. After breakfast take an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit various
beautifully carved temples in and around Varanasi. Visit Banares Hindu University, a great centre for learning and research on Sanskrit.
Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 11 : Varanasi - New Delhi
After breakfast leave for the Varanasi airport to board your plane for travel to New Delhi airport.
Here leave for the city to check into your hotel or board an international flight from IGI Airport for
your flight back home.
Day 7: Khajuraho
Day 8: Khajuraho - Varanasi
After breakfast take an excursion to Sarnath.
Day 9: Varanasi
Day 10 : Varanasi
Early morning take another cruise on River Ganges. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
Leave for the airport to board your flight to New Delhi or any other location of your choice.
