Meghalaya has some of the thickest primary forests in the country and therefore constitutes one of the most important ecotourism circuits in India. The Meghalaya subtropical forests support a vast variety of flora and fauna. This North-Eastern state of India has two national parks and three wildlife sanctuaries, breath-taking waterfalls, caves and Living Roots Bridges - the last on UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. on a nature trail. During this , you will explore various species of animals at the Baghmara Reserve and Balpakram National Park. Track the majestic tigers, witness rich population of animals and bask in the splendour of alluring nature. The naturally blessed Baghmara reserve is well famous for various types of plants and wildlife species. The langurs, the large cats, tigers, leopards, hoolock gibbons, Assamese macaque and orange bellied squirrels are among the mammals found in Baghmara. In plants Lady's slipper and the pitcher plants are found in abound here which are not so common in other places of the nation.
A full day trekking inside the Balpakram National park with a naturalist and armed guide. Balpakram has an area of about 220 sq km and this area is home to a variety of wildlife mammals including tigers, elephants, bison, black bear, leopards, sambar deer, and some rarest species of the Lesser Panda or the Red Panda.
Balpakram and the Garo hills are also heaven for the birdwatchers and are classified as one of Meghalaya's important Bird's sites by the Indian bird conservation. More than 270 bird species have been recorded on these hills. The common sighted birds of the areas are black & Jerdon's Baza, Mountain bamboo & white cheeked partridge, grey peacock, kingfisher, bay woodpecker, cuckoo, olive bulbul, eyebrowed wren babbler, white winged duck and the flavescent bulbul etc.
The Shillong Peak is situated at an altitude of 2000 mt and is the highest point in Meghalaya. The peak offers breathtaking bird's eye view of the city and the sprinkled villages nearby. The view from here is as mesmerizing in day time the night view is absolutely awe inspiring as the dwelling lights provide the ground below an aura of the night sky.
The state boasts of Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. One comes across roaring waterfalls and deep gorges pn way to this place.
The Mawsmai Caves, Nohsngithiang and Nohkalikai Waterfalls are amazing attractions of

ITINERARY
Day 1 : New Delhi
Arrive IGI International Airport. Our representative will escort you to your hotel.
Our ac car with an English-speaking driver will be at your disposal to take you to show
attractions of this lovely city. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2 : New Delhi - Shillong
Reach New Delhi early to board your flight to Shillong, the beautiful capital of Meghalaya
State of India. After check-in at your hotel and breakfast take a walking tour of the colourful
and bustling markets of the city. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the market. Dinner and
overnight at your hotel.
Day 3 : Shilllong - Cherrapunjee
After breakfast visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Mawkdok Valley, Garden of Caves, Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls. Dinner and overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Day 4 : Cherrapunjee - Nongriat
After breakfast trek to the pride of Meghalaya : the double decker living roots bridges and Rainbow Falls. Trek back to Cherrapunjee. Dinner and overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Day 5 : Cherrapunjee - Dawki
After breakfast visit the Krangsuri Falls at Dawki and the Phe Phe Falls at Amalarem. Drive back to Shillong for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 6 : Dawki
After breakfast visit the Krangsuri Falls at Dawki and the Phe Phe Falls at Amalarem. Drive back to Shillong for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 7 : Shillong
After breakfast visit Ward's Lake, Phan Nonglait Park, Laitlum Grand Canyons and Sweet Falls. In the evening take a walking tour of the Police Bazaar. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 8 ; Shillong - Mawphlang - Mawsynram
After breakfast drive to Mawphang Sacred Groves in Mawsynram ,the amazing Mawjymbuin Caves and Krem Puri for the longest sandstone cave in the world. Drive back to Shillong for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 9 : Shillong - Wah Rilang - Nongkhnum Island.
After breakfast drive to Wah Rilang at Mawkyrwat and later to the second largest river island Nongkhnum and the Kshaid Waterfall. Drive back to Shillong for dinner and overnight stay in your hotel.
Day 10 :Shillong - Nongjrong - Syntung
Very early in the morning depart from Shillong to experience "river of clouds" which occurs before sunrise. Click some stunning pictures. Drive to Syntung where you would want to spend an entire day cruising on the lake, admiring cascading waterfalls and walking in the garden. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
Day 11 :Shillong
After breakfast visit the Church and Don Bosco Museum.
On your last night in Meghalaya we will host you a gala dinner with unlimited drinks and bar-be-cue. This will be followed by presentation of a lovely gift. Overnight in your hotel.
Day 12 : Shillong - New Delhi
Leave your hotel to board flight to New Delhi. Change over to the IGI International Airport to
take your flight back home. Alternatively, if you wish we will drive you to a hotel for rest,
exploring the city, dinner and overnight stay. Our car will take you to the airport to board
your flight. The transfer services are complimentary.
