Enjoy this unique 17-day tour exploring both South and North India. See ancient Ajanta and Ellora caves, fort of Daulatabad, the marvels of throbbing Mumbai, the lake city of Udaipur, the imposing fort of Chittorgarh, the sacred city Pushkar, Amer Fort Complex at Jaipur, Taj Mahal at Agra and Qutub Minar at New Delhi. Day 1 : New Delhi
Arrive New Delhi IGI International Airport. You will be escorted to our hotel. Our ac car with an English-speaking driver will be at your disposal to take you to see attractions of this amazing city. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 : New Delhi-Aurangabad Via Flight
Take a morning flight to Aurangabad. Take an excursion to Ajanta Caves - a World Heritage Site that has thirty 6th Century rock-cut Buddhist Caves that represent the earliest wall paintings. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Aurangabad - Ellora caves - Fort Daulatabad - Aurangabad
After breakfast you will visit the Ellora Caves showcasing Hindu, Jain and Buddhist heritage. After lunch you will take an excursion to Fort Daulatabad - so formidable that it never fell into enemy hands. Its tunnel entrance, cannon post and narrow escape bridge are marvels of military architecture. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4 : Aurangabad - Mumbai by Air
Take an early-morning flight to Bombay (Mumbai) and check in to your hotel. Enjoy a full-day tour of Mumbai visiting Gateway of India, Sri Siddhvinayak Temple, Iskcon Temple, Colaba and Marine Drive. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 5 : Mumbai - Udaipur by Air
Early morning you will head to Elephanta Caves by boat. After the boat ride and lunch, leave for the airport to catch the afternoon flight to Udaipur.
Day 6 : Mumbai - Udaipur
Check in to your lake-facing hotel and have dinner at Amrai Restaurant, overlooking a lake.
Day 7 & 8 : Udaipur
Early in the morning explore Lake Pichola, by boat. Visit the City Palace and Museum, Bagor-Ki-Haveli and the Garden-for-Maidens. Stroll through the colourful bazaars and drive around the gardens and lakes of Udaipur.
Take an excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort - here enjoy a thrilling jeep safari, visit the crafts village and Monsoon Palace located on a hill.
Day 9 : Udaipur - Kishangarh
At 7:30 you will leave for Kishangarh. Enroute you will visit Fort Chittorgarh, a World Heritage Site, and then check in to Phool Mahal Palace, a heritage hotel situated on a lovely lake. In the evening enjoy BBQ and a sumptuous buffet dinner.
Day 10: Kishangarh - Pushkar-Jaipur
Take an excursion to Pushkar where you will visit the temple of Lord Buddha and the sacred lakes. You will leave for Jaipur, driving for around 90 minutes. In the evening you will visit the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. Leave for the majestic Castle Kalwar (30 mins), where you will enjoy some BBQ and dinner.
Day 11 : Jaipur - Fort Amer
Visit Amer & Nahargarh Forts followed by the City Palace and Museum, the Palace of Winds and Jantar Mantar. In the late afternoon, enjoy a complimentary Ayurvedic massage and then watch a puppet show and dance with the folk dancers on the hotel roof-top while enjoying a buffet dinner.
Day 12 & 13 : Jaipur
Spend two more days in this heritage city. Enjoy a 70-minute Ayurvedic massage.
Take a drive to the 150year old Castle Kalwar for bar-be-cue, drinks and dinner.
Take an excursion to village Abhaneri to see the amazing 14th century 450-step well.
Enroute enjoy lunch at Fort Madhogarh situated on a green hill.
See aarti being performed in the evening at Govind-Devji-Temple.
Day 14 : Agra
See the Taj Mahal and Itamad-dulla"s Tomb
Days 15 and 16 : New Delhi
Explore the bazaars of Old Delhi on walking tours.
Visit Akshardham Temple, Lodhi Garden, the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate,
take a walking tour of Connaught Place.
Day 17 : New Delhi - IGI Airport New Delhi
Leave for the airport to board your flight home.
